"Met blote voeten dansen". Deze "footundies" kunnen zo worden gedragen of als extra onderstuening in ballet, jazzschoenen of sneakers. Dit type wordt door de meeste dansers het best gewaardeerd omdat ze makkelijk aangaan, niet beperkend zijn voor de beweging en de natuurlijke stand van de voet en tenen niet verstoort.

 This shoe features a thong-shaped suede upper and fits between the big toe and the second toe. The half-sole covers the ball of the foot for protection during turns. The short elastic straps help the shoe hug the foot.
